We are very happy to see the good “Kristina Katarina” in Tallinn.
She will continue the service of veteran ship “Kristina Regina” which has recently “retired”. Kristina Katarina was refurbished in Finland and is in all respects ready to render traditional service to her guests.
During the inaugural call to Tallinn on the 29th of August 2010 traditional plaque exchange took place on board. Head of agency Capt. Vladimir Hill handed over the Tallinn port plaque to Capt. Mikko Partanen, member of owner family.

“Kristina Regina” on the way to her last berth.

Yesterday “Kristina” sailed from Tallinn to port of Kotka, where she is supposed to be docked for the rest of her life. She will be re-built to floating hotel-restaurant with a museum showing the role of the ship in maritime history of Baltic shipping and cruise.
The veteran ship played important role in establishing connections between people of Finland and Estonia.
The crew and owners (ship is owned by a family) are proud of their ship and wish her luck in retirement life.

 Exciting events in August.
Two important events happened during the last few days.
One is a surprise visit of the luxury mega yacht Le Grand Bleu to Tallinn. She was docked at berth No8, next to D-Terminal. Local Estonian press published a follow-up article with some details of the yacht and owners.
Pre-planned launch of the helicopter was cancelled when the crew learnt that distance to local airport is hardly exceeding the length of a airport runway of a large plane. We arranged for a comfortable shuttle bus.
The guests are happy with the visit. Please see some pictures below.

The long awaited call of the Princess Maria with tourist from Russia took place on the 4th of August. Welcome to beautiful Tallinn, Russian guests!

Today we had a spectacular call of the Disney Magic to Tallinn.

The arriving ship was met by live brass band of the Tallinn port dressed in traditional blue suits.
A plaque ceremony took place on board. Captain Mickey Mouse hosted Ambassador of the USA and representatives of Tallinn community and port.
Volunteers from the Disney club have paid a visit to the local Children’s clinic. Well known cartoon characters which you will see on some of the pictures below, have played short presentation to children. Both volunteers and children were happy. One small boy said he was lucky to get wounded today, otherwise he would have no chance to meet his beloved characters in person.
Both passengers and crews of the two other guest ships, Silver Whisper and Jewel of the Seas also enjoyed beautiful weather and traditional hospitality of the old Tallinn.

Eminent German businessman Klaus Jurgen Behrens died on the 29th of September, 2009.
Inflot AS has to thank him for establishing the company. Back to 1991 he was the man to take responsibility for launching our limited company in Estonia instead of the then dying Inflot-Tallinn.
Since then he always helped us to survive by means of good knowledge of the maritime business and investment of his own means.
But he was always much more then just a founder of a modest Baltic maritime company. As General Manager of the powerful Transnautic GmbH he was for many years involved in the activity of Morflot, the Soviet Merchant Marine and the whole foreign trade of the last Empire.
After the tremendous turn in the contemporary history resulting from the dismantling of the Soviet Union he helped create the new maritime community in many post-Soviet countries. His sound and clear vision of the international maritime economy and financial abilities were a help to many of his partners.
He was a model businessman and honest family man. He left many friends in his home country of Germany, but also in Estonia and Russia, Lithuania and Hong Kong, the USA and Paraguay.
He is buried in Ohlsdorf, Hamburg, beside his wife who passed just few years ago.
We share the deep sorrow of his daughters and grandchildren.
Rest in piece, Klaus!
